In February 2024, Baran Israel, a fully-owned subsidiary of Baran Group, issued an open tender for development works of a residential project in the Ma’ale Adumim settlement in the occupied West Bank. The tender pertains to carrying out development works to complete the occupancy of the project.
In 2022, and 2023 the company carried out infrastructure works for the construction of a new residential neighborhood in the settlement of Ma’ale Adumim in the occupied West Bank. The works included the infrastructure construction of 459 housing units, and the construction of public infrastructure including road breaking, subsurface farming infrastructure, construction of an underground passage, retaining walls, and renovations that encompass play facilities. Additionally, the project involves the establishment of electrical and communication infrastructure connections, as well as the construction of sidewalks.
In January 2023, Baran Efko Ltd., a fully-owned subsidiary of Baran Group, carried out the planning, production and construction of a 30-meters high cellular mast for the Pelephone Communications company in the settlement of Beitar Illit, in the occupied West Bank.
In 2022, Baran Group provided Project Management Office services for the development of the Jerusalem Light Rail network (JLR). The Jerusalem Light Rail (JLR) network is a large-scale Israeli transport infrastructure project connecting large settlement blocks in occupied East Jerusalem to the center of the city and its western side, creating territorial continuity and easing settler movement on both sides of the Green Line. In 2022, Baran Israel, a fully-owned subsidiary of Baran Group, managed the installation of the first turbine at the power station in Bereshit Wind Farm in the occupied Syrian Golan. The Bereshit Wind Farm is a large wind energy project of Enlight Renewable Energies in the Syrian Golan. The turbines are manufactured by General Electric company.
In May 2020, the company signed a contract with Elbit Systems for the planning and management of the relocation of Israeli Military Industries (IMI) factories to Ramat Beka industrial zone in the Naqab worth around 18 million USD (60 million NIS).
In 2019, Baran Group was granted a contract with the Israeli Police for the construction and maintenance of buildings worth around NIS 7 million NIS.
Furthermore, the Group managed the construction project of section A of the Tel Aviv-Jerusalem Fast Train (A1), including Bridge 6, which crosses the Green Line at the Latrun enclave into occupied Palestinian land.
