About
Who Profits Research Center is an independent research center dedicated to exposing the commercial involvement of Israeli and international corporations in the ongoing Israeli occupation of Palestinian and Syrian land and population.
Our work addresses the Israeli occupation economy and sheds light on the role of the private sector in the Israeli settlement enterprise, in the economic exploitation of Palestinian and Syrian land, labor, and resources, as well as its role in the apparatus of control exerted over occupied populations.
We recognize that private corporations globally play a major role in advancing political interests while generating enormous profits. Similarly, the Israeli and multinational corporations facilitating and profiting from Israel's military repression, settlement expansion, and the exploitation of resources and labor are significant actors in a global economic system and should be confronted as such.
Moreover, Israeli companies and the Israeli security apparatus are constantly developing technologies and mechanisms of control and repression that are tested and actualized on Palestinian bodies. These technologies and practices are then exported globally to forge political alliances.
We consider knowledge a powerful tool for exposing the underlying causes and mechanisms of injustice. By producing fact-based, free, and accessible research and analysis on the economic aspects of Israel’s entrenched rule over the Palestinian people and the Syrian communities of the Golan, we support the work of the global civil society for justice, freedom, and equality in Palestine and beyond.
Who Profits was founded in 2007 as a project of the Coalition of Women for Peace, and became an independent Research Center in 2013.
Online Database and Information Center
Who Profits’ Corporate Database is freely available to the public, and features the profiles of hundreds of companies commercially involved in the Israeli occupation economy. Strategic companies are updated annually and bi-annually. Other companies are updated upon request.
Who Profits also operates an Information Center through which individuals and civil society organizations can contact us with specific queries regarding companies and their involvement in the occupation.
Publications
Who Profits produces In-Depth Reports, Updates, Flash Reports, and Infographics examining new developments and key issues of the occupation economy, often with a focus on specific companies, sectors, themes, or projects.
Methodology
Over the years, Who Profits has developed a rigorous methodology for our corporate research. Our research primarily relies on public records and information sources that are open to the public, including company publications, news articles, official government documents, and court verdicts. We also conduct investigative field tours to collect evidence and submit Freedom of Information requests to official government bodies.
All company profiles and publications undergo a peer review process and all companies are contacted prior to publication and are given the opportunity to comment. This ensures that Who Profits’ information is verified at various stages, and that information is of the highest accuracy possible.

من يربح من الاحتلال هو مركز ابحاث مستقل، المخصص لكشف تورط الشركات الاسرائيلية والعالمية في الاحتلال الاسرائيلي المستمر على الاراضي الفلسطينية والسورية.
تم تأسيس المركز في عام 2007 كأحد مشاريع تحالف النساء للسلام، وتحول الى مركز مستقل في عام 2013. يتناول نشاطنا قضية اقتصاد الاحتلال الاسرائيلي من خلال ثلاثة مجالات عمل: تركيز قاعدة بيانات الكترونية للشركات المتورطة، تفعيل مركز معلومات الكتروني ومجاني، نشر تقارير حول تورط الشركات في الاحتلال. نحن نسعى من خلال هذه المجالات ان نسلط الضوء على دور القطاع الخاص في صناعة المستوطنات، والاستغلال الاقتصادي للاراضي الفلسطينية والسورية، واستغلال العمال والموارد، وجهاز السيطرة على الشعوب القابعة تحت الاحتلال.
تساعد المعلومات الموثوقة والمؤكدة التي يوفرها المركز النشطاء المحليين، مؤسسات المجتمع المدني ومتخذي القرارات على خلق نقاش عام ونزيه حول الجوانب الاقتصادية للاحتلال والمصالح المحلية والعالمية التي تلعب دور هام في الحفاظ على السيطرة الاسرائيلية على الاراضي الفلسطينية والسورية.
يشكل موقع “من يربح” قاعدة بيانات متاحة ومجانية والتي تشمل 500 شركة متورطة في الاحتلال. كما ويفعّل “من يربح” مركز معلومات الذي يمكّن الافراد ومؤسسات المجتمع المدني من التواصل معنا والاستفسار حول شركات وتورطها في الاحتلال. تشكل هذه المعلومات التي نوفرها اساس متين لتحليلات وتقارير مستقبلية والتي تدعم الهدف الاسمى وهو محاسبة الشركات وتعزيز العدالة الاجتماعية وانهاء الاحتلال الاسرائيلي.
منشورات
ينشر المركز تقارير مصغرة، اوراق موقف وتقارير معمقة التي تبحث في تطور قضايا اساسية في اقتصاد الاحتلال، غالبًا بالتركيز على شركات معينة، قطاعات، موضوعات او اخبار. جميع التقارير موجودة على موقعنا. التقارير المعمقة مهمة على الصعيد العالمي بشكل خاص، لانها تكشف عن شركات اساسية، كAhava و HP اعمال قطاعات وصناعات كبيرة كالطاقة الحرارية وتورط البنوك الاسرائيلية.
منهجية البحث
على مر السنوات، طوّر المركز منهجية بحث دقيقة. تعمل الباحثات على ايجاد معلومات وموارد المتاحة للعامة، كتقارير ومنشورات الشركات، تقارير اخبارية، ملفات حكومية رسمية وقرارات المحاكم. بالاضافة، نحن نقوم بجولات ميدانية للاراضي الفلسطينية والسورية المحتلة من اجل الحصول على اثباتات، ونقدم طلبات “حرية المعرفة” لاجسام اسرائيلية رسمية.
تمر جميع التقارير والمعلومات سيرورة مراجعة من قبل جميع اعضاء الطاقم ويتم التواصل مع جميع الشركات قبل النشر من اجل منحهم الفرصة للرد، مما يضمن ان تكون المعلومات مؤكدة على العديد من الاصعدة وطرح المعلومات بأكبر غاية من الدقة.
