The systems will be installed in 160 trains and at 76 stations throughout a four and a half years project carried out by CAF and Shapir Engineering and Industry.
The systems include precise fleet tracking, driver communications and information for passengers onboard and in the station, as well as automatic train operation, dynamic route establishment, crossway priority requests, automatic flange lubrication and tunnel lighting.
