A private Israeli company that operates a chain of supermarkets (registered under the name Global Retail C.I. Ltd.). The company is considered the fifth-largest Israeli food retail chain.

Yenot Bitan operates over 150 supermarket branches under the brand names: Yenot Bitan, Mega in the City, Mehadrin Market, Mega Market, Bitan Market, and SUPER; and operates three online shopping websites: Bitan Online, Mega Online, and Quik.

Yenot Bitan operates branches in the settlements of Ariel, Alfei Menashe and Ma’ale Adumim in the occupied West Bank.

The company operates a 'Mega' branch in the settlement of Ariel in the occupied West Bank; and a 'Mega' branch in a shopping center, located in a “demilitarized zone” outside the Green Line in the occupied West Bank, in the city of Modi'in-Maccabim-Re'ut. 

The company operates 'Mehadrin Market' branches in the settlements of Beit El, Kokhav Ya'akov and Modi’in Illit in the occupied West Bank, and one branch in the settlement of Neve Ya’akov in occupied East Jerusalem.

Carrefour Israel

On April 3, 2022, Yenot Bitan and parent company Electra Consumer Products entered into an exclusive franchise agreement with French multinational retail and wholesaling corporation Carrefour, to operate its stores and market Carrefour brands under the name Carrefour Israel.

According to the agreement, Carrefour stores will gradually replace all more than 150 branches owned by Yenot Bitan by mid-2024, and all Yenot Bitan stores will have access to Carrefour branded products. 56 out of the 150 branches that will be converted into Carrefour are Mega branches.  

By May 2023, Carrefour has opened around 50 stores in Israel under its franchise partnership with Yenot Bitan and Electra Consumer Products.

As of June 2023, 144 Carrefour brand products were found on Yenot Bitan's online website, and 39 Carrefour brand products were found on Mega Online website.
