Malam Team is an Israeli IT services group that provides computer services in the field of information technology.
The company is an official supplier for the Israeli Ministry of Defense (IMOD) and supplies services to the Israel Police, Israeli military and the Israel Security Agency (Shin Bet).
Ofek military camp
In October 2022, Malam Team was awarded a tender for the Israeli Ministry of Defense (IMOD) for the financing, planning, construction, operation and maintenance of the "Ofek Rahav" military camp, which will be established near the city of Ramla, for a period of 25 years.
According to the tender, Malam Team will serve as the project's main ICT contractor, for the design, construction, operation, maintenance and technological upgrades of the ICT systems. According to the company, its revenues from the project are expected to amount to about NIS 530 million.
The camp will cover 360 dunams and is planned to accommodate about 9,000 serving soldiers, and will be the largest and most central multi-armed camp of the Israeli military and will include the new recruiting office and chain of command, the headquarters of the Ground Forces, the Technological and Logistics Directorate units, the Personnel Directorate and an advanced medical center. In addition, the project will include commercial areas, parking lots, sports facilities and bicycle paths.
The project is part of the Israeli Government Resolution 2392 (from 2015) for the relocation of military camps from the center of Israel. The franchisee of the project is Shikun & Binui Group, and it is financed by Hapoalim Bank.
Military logistics centers
In 2020, Malam Team was contracted by the Israeli Ministry of Defense (IMOD) and the Israeli military to be one of two IT providers for three new military regional logistics centers for the period of 25 years, together with IBM. The new centers will provide all the military’s logistical needs using advanced technology. The entire operation is expected to be civilian, and based largely on robotics and sophisticated equipment. The contract, shared by MalamTeam and IBM is valued at NIS 1 billion for both companies.
Eltel Technologistics
Malam Team provides outsourcing services to the IMOD through its subsidiary Eltel Technologistics, jointly owned with Elta Systems, subsidiary of Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI).
Eltel, which develops and supplies technological and maintenance solutions for the security sector, was a main contractor for the IMOD for the operation and management of an interrogation and training facility for Israeli military combat units. The facility offers Israeli military and police advanced live ammunition and artillery training, digital shooting ranges and urban combat training areas that simulate the occupied West Bank, Gaza and the Syrian Golan Heights. In addition, the company operates a hi-tech training center for military commanders.
As of 2020, the company has provided adaptation of technological and logistical solutions to the IMOD and a control team to work in cooperation with the Israeli military in training. In 2019, the company provided to the Israeli military training services and management of military exercises. In 2018, the company provided implementation and training of a sniper simulator in the Israeli military units.
In 2019, Eltel Technologistics won a tender for the IMOD to supply drones to the Israeli military’s infantry units.
In addition, Eltel provided installation and maintenance services for scanners installed at commercial and civil Israeli checkpoints in the occupied West Bank and besieged Gaza.
In 2017, Eltel provided objects scanning systems to the Israeli Prison Service (IPS) for Hadarim Detention Facility, where Palestinian detainees are incarcerated, for NIS 346,219.
