LRAD Corporation produces long range acoustic hailing devices (AHDs).
The company manufactures Long Range Acoustic Device (LRAD), which is an acoustic hailing device and sonic weapon, many times referred to as “The Scream”. The device has been used several times by Israeli soldiers in the West Bank to attack Palestinian protestors.
In June 2011, the company received a $293,000 opening order from the Israeli Ministry of Defense for LRAD 100X and 500X systems.
