Fassi Gru S.p.A. is an Italian manufacturer of lifting machinery and cranes. The Fassi Group consists of eight companies based in Italy that manufacture and market hydraulic cranes.
Fassi cranes have been used in the demolition of Palestinian infrastructure by the Israeli Civil Administration (ICA) and the Israeli military in the occupied West Bank.
Fassi loader cranes have been used to dismantle and confiscate residential tents, agricultural structures, and water and solar power equipment, particularly in rural communities in areas where Palestinian residents face the risk of forced displacement.
On 9 June 2020, a FASSI crane truck was documented in use by ICA personnel and Israeli military in a demolition and confiscation of four residential shacks at the Palestinian community of Abu Ghaliya, southeast of the town of al-‘Azariyah in the so-called E1 area, in the occupied West Bank. The structures served as a residence for a family of 11 people, including four minors.
