The company is a fashion retailer operating under three brands: Aldo, Call It Spring and Globo. The company specializes in footwear and accessories and operates in more than 110 countries.

The company operates one ALDO shop and one Call it Spring shop in a mall in the settlement neighborhoods of Ramot in occupied East Jerusalem.

The company was founded by Aldo Bensadoun.

The ALDO Group operates in more than 100 countries.  In the USA, the ALDO Group operates 316 ALDO stores and 83 Call it Spring stores, and has 36 Globo locations across Canada. Outside North America, ALDO Group International operates about 1070 stores, 870 ALDO and 200 Call it Spring, through a network of franchisees.

In 2022, it was reported that Aldo collaborated with Disney to launch a new collection of shoes, bags and accessories.

ALDO also holds a partnership with RSG, a retail services group.

Aldo is also an official partner of Better Work, a collaboration between the United Nation’s International Labour Organization, the International Finance Corporations and the World Bank.

The company’s Israeli franchiser is Eurotex Textile Ltd.
