In 2021 and 2019, the company published a job advertisement on its Facebook page for security personnel at the checkpoints in the “Jerusalem Envelope” area (the segment of the wall surrounding Jerusalem). In 2018, the company also won a tender published by the Israeli Police to provide security services for the "Jerusalem Envelope" area.
In 2020, the company published a job advertisement on its Facebook page for security personnel at the Erez checkpoint in Gaza.
In 2018 and 2019, as a response to a Freedom of Information request submitted by Who Profits to the Israeli Ministry of Defense, it confirmed hiring Sheleg Lavan to provide security and cleaning services for checkpoints in the Southern part of the West Bank.
In December 2014, according to a media report, Palestinian workers refused to pass through the Sha’ar Efraim checkpoint because of its harsh conditions and the maltreatment by Sheleg Lavan security guards operating it. Later that month, one worker died at the checkpoint from these harsh conditions.
The company also operates in Kerem Shalom checkpoint in Gaza.
