The factory of Green Oil receives used oil from both West Bank settlements and sources within the green line.
Due to a long history of smell nuisance, the factory is under the special monitoring of the Municipal Environmental Associations of Judea and Samaria - the environmental arm of the Israeli authorities in the occupied Palestinian territory.
The operation of the Green Oil factory may cause smell pollution. The Municipal Environmental Associations of Judea and Samaria have received many complaints of smell nuisance from the work of the factory. These complaints were of course received from Israeli settlers, and there is no one accountable for the pollution caused to the Palestinian residents in the area. The factory is under special supervision of the association.
In July 2014, the Municipal Environmental Associations of Judea and Samaria reported the transfer of used oil to the West Bank factory of Green Oil.
