In 2021, the Group signed an agreement with the weapons manufacturer Rafael Advanced Systems for the establishment of a project where ex-soldiers receive training in Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies.

In 2021, the company was awarded a NIS 800,000 contract with the Israeli police to provide data security services for police centers. In the same year the company was awarded an additional contract with the Israeli police to provide safe end products.

In 2019, the company, in collaboration with the Jewish National Fund (JNF), launched a project to encourage Jewish settlement in the Naqab (Negev) region, where ex-soldiers are provided training in hi-tech, and those who are not residents of the area will receive incentives to move and settle there.

The company’ subsidiary Bynet Systems Applications provides services to the Israeli military unit The Coordinator of Government Activity in the Palestinian Territory (COGAT) and to the Israeli Prison Service (IPS):

Services to COGAT:

In 2021, the company was awarded a contract to provide connection points for COGAT.

In 2020, the company was awarded a NIS 81,904 contract to provide infrastructure works in COGAT offices in the settlement of Bet El and the Gilboa checkpoint. In the same year, the company was also awarded additional two COGAT contracts for the provision of services to COGAT’s unit in Nablus, for NIS 17,109 and NIS 15,110 respectively.

Services to the IPS:

In 2019, the company was awarded a NIS 35,538 contract to provide communications points to IPS facilities in the Southern District, and a NIS 20,501contract for the facilities in the Northern District.

In 2018, the company was awarded a NIS 124,280 contract to provide passive infrastructure services in all of IPS facilities.

In 2018, the company was contracted by the IPS to provide coomunication infrastructure to the IPS’s operational arm, the Nachshon unit offices. Also in 2018, the company provided equipment for the Damun prison, where Palestinian political prisoners are held.

In 2018, the company was awarded a NIS 32,247 contract to provide communication services as part of the construction of new units in the Ofer prison where Palestinian political prisoners are held.

In 2018, the company was awarded a NIS 45,420 contract to provide services to the tent wings in Megiddo and Ktziot prisons where Palestinian political prisoners are held under extremely brutal conditions.

In 2016, it was contracted by the IPS to provide communication services to the Ohalei Kedar prison where Palestinian political prisoners are incarcerated, in a NIS 26,364 contract.

In 2015, the company was awarded a NIS 55,648 award to provide communication infrastructure for the Shikmah prison, where Palestinian political prisoners are incarcerated.

In 2015, the company was awarded a NIS 16,388 contract to provide infrastructure for cameras in the Meggido prison. Also in 2015, the company was awarded a NIS 7,738 to provide communication infrastrucutre for the Ofer prison.

Ariel settlement univeristy: In 2018, Bynet was awarded a contract with Ariel University, in the occupied West Bank, for the purchase, the installation and maintenance of WIFI services.

In 2017, Cisco, an American based public company, cut a multi-million-shekel three-year deal with the Israeli military to upgrade military defence networks. Cisco servers are to be delivered through Bynet Data Communication Ltd. This contract was formerly held by the now-defunct Hewlett-Packard (HP).

The Rad-Bynet Group was awarded a contract to raise and operate the commuter and communication infrastructure, as part of the Mabat Lanegev (Gaze to the Negev) Group, which also includes Minrav and Electra, for the Israeli military city in the Naqab (Negev) – the Bahad City.

Another corporate member of the Group, Radwin, provides communication services for Modiin Illit settlement, occupied West Bank, CCTV system. Radwin is privately owned by 31 private and corporate shareholders, including Genesis Partners, Yehuda & Zohar Zisapel and Bank Hapoalim.

In addition, Radwin’s wireless video surveillance transmission system, WinLink 1000, was installed in Ir David (City of David) settlement project located in the Palestinian neighborhood of Silwan in occupied East Jerusalem. The system installation was provided by Mer Group, as part of the “City without Violence” project initiated by the Israeli government in 2008.

Radwin products were used by the British army in Afghanistan.

In 2014, Red-Bynet group was granted an award by the Israeli military for its services during Israel’s 2014 attack on Gaza which left some 1,462 people dead, including 500 children.
