Rad-Bynet Group specializes in data communication, computerization and telecommunications. The group brings together Rad and Bynet Group companies under one umbrella.
Rad-Bynet provides services to the Israeli military. In 2014, it was awarded by the Israeli military for its services during Israel’s 2014 attack on Gaza which left some 1,462 people dead, including 500 children.
In 2017, Cisco, an American based public company, cut a multi-million-shekel three-year deal with the Israeli military to upgrade military defence networks. Cisco servers are to be delivered through Bynet Data Communication Ltd. This contract was formerly held by the now-defunct Hewlett-Packard (HP).
The Rad-Bynet Group was awarded a contract to raise and operate the commuter and communication infrastructure, as part of the Mabat Lanegev (Gaze to the Negev) Group, which also includes Minrav and Electra, for the Israeli military city in the Naqab (Negev) – the Bahad City.
In 2018, Bynet was awarded a 3 million NIS Israeli police contract for the provision of communication equipment. Bynet also provides IT solutions to the Israeli prison services. There are over 5000 Palestinian political prisoners incarcerated in Israeli jails.
In 2018, Bynet was awarded a contract with Ariel University, in the occupied West Bank, for the purchase, for the installation and maintenance of WIFI services.
Another corporate member of the Group, Radwin, provides communication services for Modiin Illit settlement, occupied West Bank, CCTV system. Radwin is privately owned by 31 private and corporate shareholders, including Genesis Partners, Yehuda & Zohar Zisapel and Bank Hapoalim.
In addition, Radwin’s wireless video surveillance transmission system, WinLink 1000, was installed in Ir David (City of David) settlement project located in the Palestinian neighbourhood of Silwan in occupied East Jerusalem. The system installation was provided by Mer Group, as part of the “City without Violence” project initiated by the Israeli government in 2008.
