The company owns three commercial solar fields in the occupied West Bank.
Zabar Solar fully owns the Barkan Solar Field located in the Barkan settlement Industrial Zone. The field has a capacity of 0.63 MW.
Through its subsidiary Orot Nativ Hagdud, the company fully owns Netiv Hagdud Solar Field in the settlement of Nativ Hagdud in the Jordan Valley. The field spreads over 50 dunam of land with a 4 MW capacity and 13,000 solar panels.
Through its subsidiary, Orot Amos O.A. (2011) Ltd., the company holds 74% of the Ma’ale Amos Solar Field, located in the settlement of Ma’ale Amos. The solar field spreads over 69.8 dunam of land with a 3.31 MW capacity. The remaining shares are held by the Ma'ale Amos settlement community cooperative.
In 2019, Orot Amos O.A. was awarded a lease development agreement allocation of land for the purpose of a solar project to produce electricity and renewable energy in the settlement of Ma'ale Amos in the West Bank. The company was allocated with 69.8 dunams from the Israel Land Authority for NIS 4,046,038.
In January 2022, the company was awarded a tender from the Israeli Civil Administration (ICA) for the establishment of dual-use PV facilities with a total capacity of 15 MW in the West Bank. The tender includes the establishment of dual-use facilities in the West Bank, installed on roofs of buildings, landfills, cemeteries, water or wastewater reservoirs, roads and interchanges, parking lots and fences.
In March 2020, Zabar Solar won a tender from the ICA for electricity generation using photovoltaic (PV) technology facilities in the West Bank. The company was allocated a total capacity of 22.5 MW for the establishment of ground facilities.
